Have spent most of the weekend painting Chaz's room. She has decided to have it painted white and black. The previous, fairly bright turquoise, is still showing through the two white coats so as going to have to paint it a third time - oh joy! However, had forgotten how relaxing I find gloss painting. No need to worry about streaks or even coverage it just goes on a dream - that would be on the fireplace, as well as all over me, the adjacent wall and the floor. Thank goodness for white spirit. Have also painted a wooden mirror gloss black to match. Now desperately need a bath.
